Forbes Notable Award Presented To Dr. Rajan Mahtani

2021 was a significant year for Dr. Rajan Mahtani as well as all other businessmen who have been trying to rebuild their business after the wake of the deadly coronavirus inset. Dr. Rajan Mahtani is a noted businessman and philanthropic from Zambia. Like other businessmen across Africa as well as across the globe, Dr. Mahtani also faced significant challenges when the pandemic hit. The year 2020 was the worst; however, we saw some improvement in the year 2021. Among these improvements included establishing normalcy in the economic and industrial activities. One of the most anticipated philanthropic events in Africa, the Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference, was held in the year 2021 virtually. It was held online because of the ongoing covid-19 pandemic and members participated in this event from their respective locations. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was invited to this event as an honorary speaker and discussed the various advantages of leadership in healthcare. According to him, political leadership is a critical factor for the upliftment of crucial sectors such as healthcare. Despite the ongoing pandemic, the event saw participation from members from varied backgrounds and industries. Members participated from international business communities as well as the event included opinion leaders, political leaders, spiritual leaders, media partners, international investors as well as entrepreneurs, and visionaries.

Apart from this notable event, the Forbes-FIN roundtable conference also hosted one of the top corporate award ceremonies in Africa. It was the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards. The award ceremony was part of the roundtable conference which further increased the anticipation. The ‘Best of Africa’ awards are created by Forbes and are presented by Forbes in partnership with FIN (Foreign Investment Limited). The Forbes award is among the highest awards across Africa in terms of philanthropy, and the objective is to recognize and celebrate the leading lights in the field of philanthropy. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who was already an honorary speaker during the event, was also conferred with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021.
