Dr. Rajan Mahtani Wins Notable Philanthropy Award

After almost three years of pandemic, the business and society have slowly started to recover. This can be seen with the reopening of several businesses, companies as well as the re-establishment of several business and corporate events. One of these events is the Forbes-FIN (Foreign Investment Network) philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference that was held in 2021. It was held virtually to comply with the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions and saw participation from members from their respective locations. Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman, philanthropist and charity worker from Zambia, was invited in this event as a honorary speaker. He spoke about the significance of leadership in healthcare. In a similar manner, the Forbes-FIN event saw participation from different personalities, such as international business communities, political leaders, opinion leaders, spiritual leaders, media partners as well as international investors.

The Forbes-FIN philanthropy and leadership roundtable conference also hosted one of the top philanthropy and corporate awards in Africa. It is the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards ceremony and is given to the leading lights in the field of business and philanthropy. Forbes recognised the contributions made by Dr. Rajan Mahtani over the past four decades and conferred him with the Forbes ‘Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year’ award 2021. Dr. Rajan Mahtani accepted the award in a humble manner. He thanked Almighty God for his strength and support during difficult times. He also thanked his team for their innumerable support that helped in achieving success across his businesses.

His companies are known for improving the industry standards as well as providing employment and livelihood opportunities.
